Today’s I See You® blog features the captivating Kisa Puckett, owner of Pink Icing, a branding and marketing agency based in Temecula, CA.

This dynamic woman is all about creating memorable experiences, whether that’s with a brand, and event, an entrepreneur creating something or anyone wanting to change it up.

Here’s a little more about Kisa in her own words!

What or who inspired you to create your business? Tell us more about your business.

Even before the age of 18, my father introduced me to the world of entrepreneurship through network marketing. From that point on, I knew that I wanted to be the designer of my future and creative in my ventures. I am the creative director of Pink Icing, a marketing and branding agency; founder of The Entrepreneur's Experience and The Business Diamond, two consulting programs that assist women entrepreneurs build wildly successful businesses through mindset shifts, plug and play marketing strategies, personal branding, and community-building.

Who saw you and supported your dreams?

My husband is who has been 'seeing' me since day one. He has been a huge supporter and one of the biggest reasons I am so successful today. With every dream I've ever had, he's been there and has been an active contributor - making sure I had everything necessary to achieve my goals.

What song heals your soul?

Songs of praise and worship ALWAYS heal my soul.

What does it mean to YOU to feel seen?

My contribution positively affects the lives of others and allows THEM to be seen in all of their brilliance. Me being seen, always involves the river flowing through me.

What’s your go-to, self-care tip?

Taking care of my mind and spirit every day is my #1 go-to. My time with God is an absolute must. Also, lots of amazing essential oils running through the diffuser all day during work! And, the occasional in-home massage is always a treat. I know that's more than one, BUT it's my self-care package tip, lol.

Growing up, did you play an instrument and/or did you participate in any clubs or volunteer programs? How do you think this/these activities helped shape you as a person?

Yes, played the clarinet and attempted the flute. I was also a Girl Scout. It gave me depth in becoming who I am today. The diversity that it provided me with allowed me to understand, authentically enjoy and value the simplest, but most important things in life - relationships and creativity.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Listen to your parents. They actually do know what they're talking about most of the time! And, some of the things you're going through right now are a phase. You will develop in a way that many of the things that matter so much to you now, will be considered 'childlike' later and not matter at all. Be okay with who you are and 'where' you are in the growing process, it is exactly that, 'A PROCESS'. You'll feel awkward, misunderstood and confused, but know that this is all part of growing up - just accept that you will get there one day and do not worry about not having all the answers now. Listen to wisdom so you do not go down the wrong path - you are not yet equipped with everything you need to know to truly understand the consequences. Lastly, you will make both good and bad decisions, but in the end you will be blessed with your story and if you use it correctly, you will impact many.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give someone thinking about starting their own company?

I give this advice regularly. This is what *The Entrepreneur's Experience* is all about. The key things are - understand the mindset you have to adopt before taking the leap. Be sure to learn and understand exactly what you're getting into, so you do not have buyer's remorse. Be prepared to work, this is not for the faint at heart or the lazy; but, also be prepared to experience the greatest ride of your life!
